The Dynatest 8012 is the FastFWD model. This machine was purchased new in 2018. Maximum applied stress is 1715kPa. Typical applied loading stress for road pavements is between 566kPa to 750kPa.
We undertake FWD testing within all parts of Australia and can transport the Dynatest apparatus by air if required. The machine is collapsible, folding into a handy compact transport cube. We have completed FWD testing the length and breadth of Australia between Bathurst Island (NT) to Hobart (TAS), and Port Macquarie (NSW) to Broome (WA).
The KUAB FWD apparatus is Swedish built, and uniquely uses seismometers to measure surface deflection. The deflection measurement range is plus or minus 6mm and therefore is well suited to test highly flexible pavements including prepared granular road base layers and railway beds. Maximum applied stress is 1715kPa.
